Abstract: A colourful flipchart created for Regional Earth Day 2004, to build awareness of renewable energy and its impact among school students in the Pacific Islands. Provides a basic teaching aid for school teachers, suitable for both primary and high school levels. Text and cartoons define renewable energy and illustrate its various sources: solar, wind, biofuel, biogas, geothermal, hydroelectric, ocean thermal, tidal, wave, waste-generated and hydrogen fuel cells.
