Abstract:
The objective of this mini-thesis is to investigate GIS environment in the Cook Islands. We will first review how GIS is performing in developed and developing countries, including GIS performance in PICs. This is important as to see how GIS is carried out in the Cook Islands compared to other countries. The Literature Review chapter covers this in detail. It was decided that the most appropriate method to derive and analyse required data for this research was to carry out a combination of semi-structured and structured interviews.
