Abstract:
Disruptive behaviour has been a source of concern for schools. Although defining the word behaviour sounds easy, it may be difficult to manage it. Little and Akin-Little (2008) indicated that one of the most challenging portions of a teacher’s role is managing student’s disruptive behaviour. Teachers are often criticised for their inability to teach because of their incompetence to control a pupil or class. Numerous children with disruptive behaviour come from disturbed home environment like absence of fathers in the family, peer pressure and drug use (Mendler, Curwin, & Mendler, 2008). Whilst, Curwin and Mendler (2000) articulated that there are also other aspects such as student boredom.
